Penelope Elizabeth | The Life in Between Project

Those of you who have followed along with our adventures for a while know that when Lucas was born I tackled my first ever 365 project (a photo a day for an entire year).  My focus for the project was to capture the little moments, or rather the life in between the big moments, all the things I never wanted to forget.  I'm so grateful for those images and nothing moves me more than looking back through that first year.  So there was never any question for me that I'd do it all again with Penelope when she was born.  What I love most about taking on this project four  years ago is that it inspired me to shoot regularly from the very beginning.  And I'm so thankful to have all these images of my children as they grow.

Below are some of my favorites from Penelope's first year.  I promise we left the house more than it appears, but many of those shots were captured with my iPhone because wearing a baby and a big girl camera while chasing around a toddler can be a bit overwhelming and sometimes downright impossible!  But for the purpose of this post I just pulled some of my favorite DSLR shots.
