Shoebox Full of Memories: Fort Wilderness DVC cabin

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to check out the newest addition to Fort Wilderness: the Disney Vacation Club cabins. And I am absolutely in love with them. I don’t know what it is exactly, but something about the Fort Wilderness property feels nostalgic and transportive. Fort Wilderness is full of magic and whimsy and, in my opinion, the most relaxing resort on property. Things really slow down for us when we stay here and we’re able to soak up each other and the environment in a way we don’t with the hustle and bustle of the other resorts and the parks.

I was honestly a little worried that the new cabins would feel out of place, but they worked them in seamlessly. They fit perfectly in the environment and have the best details and Disney touches. When we go to Fort Wilderness, we like to take board games and focus on family time. And we ALWAYS book a golf cart to cruise around in. It is everyone’s favorite part of our time here.
