The Last Frontier: A Disney Wonder Cruise Report - June 2025 (Day 07: At Sea & Day 08: Vancouver)

After four port days in a row, it was nice to wake up to a relaxing day at sea. We spent the day getting in all the things we either hadn’t done yet, or wanted to do again. There was trivia, bingo, foosball, the silent dance party (a family favorite), lots of packing, and the Frozen “night” show. While at the time, I was glad it was rescheduled, it was definitely lacking in glacier magic to watch it midday under a bright sun.

The next morning dawned bright and early. Debarkation was absolutely seamless. We went in search of an uber and, of course, said “eh, the walk wasn’t too bad, let’s do that again.” Mind you, it was a lot less pleasant going uphill at the end of our vacation.

Our flight options on debarkation day weren’t great, so we checked back into the Hilton, feeling lucky that they had a room ready for us so early. Not wanting to spend an entire day inside, we walked a couple blocks and hopped on a shuttle to Capilano Suspension Park. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and a nice way to spend our time, though it’s not something I feel like you need to go out of your way to do. Honestly, I may have enjoyed it more if it had been a mini excursion at the beginning of our trip and not the end. By this point, we were all just biding our time until we could get home.

And just like that, our epic Alaska adventure came to a close. I highly recommend an Alaskan cruise to anyone who loves cruising. It ranks up there at the top of our family vacations for each and every one of us.

As for what’s next… we have Japan and a Mediterranean cruise both on our radar.
